Baling
Conventional Balers
Our main conventional baler is a New Holland 940, providing a good production rate of bales of a high quality.
We also run (on occasion) an old New Holland Super Hayliner 268. This baler is a bit of an OAP (around 50 years old!) so needs to be taken steadily but it still produces good quality bales. This baler is a little bit narrower than the modern one though so allows us access to fields with more difficult access.
Round Baler
Our round baler is a New Holland BR7060. It runs on wide tyres to minimise ground compaction and is a belt baler allowing us to vary bale sizes to suit individual customers. This also has the addded benefit of allowing us to slightly alter the size of the last couple of bales in your field to ensure that all your grass ends up in your bales.
The full width 8'4" "Super Feed II" pick up with auger feeders ensures clean fields at the end of the day.
