Hay And Silage Services
Hay and silage are one of your most important assets throughout the winter months so if it's not made right then it's bad news for your livestock. We have the experience to be able to ensure that you get the finest quality forage with a service tailored to your needs.
We are specialists in making hay, having done so for many years with countless satisfied customers.
We also offer a high quality silage and haylage service to our customers.

We use a mower/conditioner to ensure the crop dries in the fastest time possible (an essential requirement for anyone living in the Peak District!!)
Using a 6 rotor Kuhn tedder with almost a 20ft working width spreads the crop across the full width for even and rapid drying to beat the weather.
We offer small conventional sized bales, perfect for the small holder or equestrian customer who doesn't have the ability to handle large bales.
Bales that are variable between three and five feet in diameter for haylage and silage for those with larger establishments.
- Wrapping
Choose how many layers of wrap you want ; four minimum for silage or six for better air tightness and recommended as a minimum for haylage.
Conventional baled hay, round baled haylage and silage available every year.
We usually have a stock available over winter but if you know that you will be wanting a certain quantity for the coming winter, why not pre-order and we will make it for you (it's cheaper this way too!)
